The apparatus determine Heat temperature when subject to bending load under conditions of a continually rising temperature. The test piece shall be 120mm in length, 12.7 mm width and 6.35 mm depth. The temperature is raised at an average rate of 2° c/min by programmable temperature controller & temperature is reported when the bar reaches the standard deflection Corresponding to depth of test piece. The load is applied to give
fiber stress of 1.8 N/MM2 and 0.45 N/MM2 as per the method A & B. The apparatus is supplied with two test stations each with its own dial gauge, weights & two types of indentor foot. The chasis hangs freely in heating bath. Stirrer motor and Dimmerstate is there to control heater / timer system. The indentor foot as per VSP & HDT test are provided & temperature rate of 50 c. ± 5 c/ Hr & 120 c. ± 5 c/ Hr can be maintained by programmable temperature controller.
